Felix and the Magic Sea is the story of a boy who lives with his mother by the ocean—laughing, playing, and discovering wonders along the seashore.
One day, a powerful wave pulls him in, transforming him into a baby shark. She fears the bigger sharks, but every morning, he finds his way back to her just beyond the waves.
Until one morning…he doesn’t return. Through passing seasons and years, his mother remains by the sea, holding onto hope that he will return.
Then one day, a soft knock at her window breaks the silence.

As a mom, that's what I think every time my kids go off to school, whether it's preschool or college. A part of me goes with them and a part of them stays with me.
I created Felix and the Magic Sea for children (and parents) going through these transitions. I want children to know that their parents will always be by the shore waiting for them to come home, and I want parents to know that no matter the distance, our children always come home to us!
