Michelle Luise began her writing career as an engineer, where she learned technical writing. Law school taught her legal writing, but writing for kids is a whole new experience and one that is incredibly fun!

Michelle Luise's first book, Santa Skips Christmas!?!, has received over one hundred five-star reviews from parents and grandparents. Felix and the Magic Sea is her second picture book (coming fall 2026) and the first in its series.

As a mom, Michelle Luise loves celebrating the magic of childhood, the depth of love, and the power of imagination by creating unique and mystical stories for children and their parents. When she’s not writing, Michelle Luise enjoys exploring nature, cycling, and cherishing time with her children. She hopes her stories spark joy, wonder, and a lifelong love of reading in kids everywhere.
